OK here is the best coin out of the BU roll.
It looks as if it was still struck using old dies or overly polished ones but it has a little better definition than its brothers. The tube they came from was so old it had warped around the coins. It had to be removed very carefully by peeling with a pair of pliers. And yes I did dammage one coin
So what grade would you give Mr Jefferson this time.

Hi Nohope

I think your right, the die state is going to hold these coins back a little, this one is better in some respects, (not so much chatter on the cheek) Bag marks of course are not as negative as wear, but location of the marks plays a big part .

Less bag marks on the face, still a few in the hair that distract a little from the appeal of the coin, a nice big cut on the reverse Just below the triangle a main grading point for the reverse of the coin.

I fixed the white balance and sharpened them a bit. Hope it helps.
