Your pictures aren't good enough to tell. We're going to need better pictures. Just to let you know, it's a variety, not an error coin. Varieties happens during the die making processes. An error generally happens during when the coin is struck.

A further note, the technical term is "Transitional Dies". Like the "wide AM's of 1998-2000P's", where a type of die meant for use with another coin(proof die used on business strike) or another year's old or new died's mistakenly used at the wrong time like the 88-89's were.

Looks like the normal one. Look how thin the lower part of the base of the 'g' is. RDV-005.

Me personally, I would buy your cent for 15 bucks if it was reverse of 89. But must have better pictures for determining if it is. Plus full images of the coin as well as a close up of FG would be essential. I'm not saying that I want to buy your coin, I just mean if I found it at a pawn shop or something
