First off, sorry for the not so stellar pics. I can get better ones on Tuesday if this to you is a WDDO-001 LMC. It has many of the attributes on Wexler's varieties. What got me was the circular brush marks inside the 6th memorial.

WDDO-001 doesn't have the circular die scratches. Also the mintmark location is slightly off and I don't see any doubling on your coin.

Quote:
Reverse: A light die scratch extends WNW from the upper left side of the T of CENT. A diagonal die gouge can be found above the right cornice.

WDDO-002 has the circular die scratches but that is a large date, your coin is a small date.

Your coin is not a DDO.

Also many of the 1982 and 1983 reverse dies have the circular die scratches, seems to be pretty common around those years.

Rest in Peace

I may not understand your question, or point? The circular lines...does Wexlers use them as a die marker? Remember that dies do pair differently. A reverse die may still be in use with a new obverse die or vice versa. Since the obverse looks at least MDS, don't know. Once the wife gets off my comp, I'll do a mintmark location check and go from there.

You have a normal coin with no doubling visible.
