This Lincoln has been the hardest to take a pic of. Maybe my lightening couldn't get right. I hope these pics are good enough to see what I'm seeing. Looks like a notch at the top of the 2 followed by separation. Am I seeing things here?

Looking to hard to find something. I'll see something on my scope take the picture and I don't see it in the image. I realized that it is too minor to deal with. Most collectors on buy coins they can see at 10X. So then I realized I'm looking to close. On your coin it looks like die flow is causing the notch your seeing. So look for something larger as being doubled. I've been there. You just have to look more for the obvious, rather than looking to hard for too minor.

Gotcha coop. That might be why it was so hard to focus for the pic.

Note on the first image you posted? Note the glare. It is best not tp place a light that is too strong on something that you want to show. All that happens is that it is white as the sun. If you are showing something, let the light fall over the devices leaving what you want to show in the shadow:

The right amount of light, no glare, but note the shadow area. What he wanted to focus on, is shown in shadow. You know how sometimes a whisper is better than a scream..

That is awesome coop. Thanks for the knowledge. Gonna try to work on that.. all I have is a home made scope which you would laugh at if you could see it. But sometimes it works pretty good. Thanks

Send me an email with images. I will see what I can see you need on your setup. The other day I was in a thrift store and found a microscope there that was perfect to use for coins. So I bought it as a back up. All that it need was the glass on the table top. (probably the glass will cost as much as the scope) LOL
