Is this Lincoln 1951 d/d worth sending in to be graded/certified?

Simply put, No way. That is only worth as a MS62 (tops, more like straight uncirculated MS60) coin no more than a couple bucks, even with an RPM. I can't even sell nicer MS's 1950's w/RPMs for $1.79 on ebay! Grading costs are $60 minimum, usually closer to $100. Unless you coin can be sold for $200, it really isn't woth the expense, and frustration. Look at this site, the lower left table lists an "arbitrary" value, not a real world realized price... http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/dies...ie_state=mds

Ding ding ding! Correct. I get that several sites would like to see this coin for images for their sites.

But I would expect a better price than normal. Perhaps 2X the price. Not even the sites have images of it.

I would suggest getting it graded if it has significant value to you not necessarily monetary value. I got my Merc dime graded even though it was only MS-65.

Nice find! However, don't send it to be graded. Not worth the cost of grading. Quote: I would suggest getting it graded if it has significant value to you not necessarily monetary value. to the CCF!
