1969 S Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC With Only The "trust" MD? Why? Helps Please

Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 06/01/2018 12:45 am The die when it bounced may have tilted slightly, coming down on that side of the coin first before settling straight. Its like hammering a nail, your hammer bounces on the nail, as it does, it doesn't land exactly in the same spot, or you twist a bit, same thing in a die press. Report this Post to the Staff

Even doubled dies suffered then: But by the size of your devices, the die was normal and the machine movement after the strike damaged the fresh struck devices. Note they are not larger than normal they area smaller than normal. Report this Post to the Staff
