Booby Trapped Rolls! Need Advice! - Coin Community Forum

I just received 6 rolls of nickels that have some kind'of slime on them. They are all stuck together . They will pull apart,But I'd rather just soak them in soap/water or acetone to get the gunk off. But there was a bright side. There was a 57' Wheat cent in one of the rolls! So how would you go about cleaning this funk off of them? Thanks for any advice! Report this Post to the Staff

Maybe someone spilled a McDonald's shake on them at the bank. First thing I'd do is an acetone soak.
