Center of coin coloration indicative of circulation.

Are those center colors accurate?

While I was away, I did a little learning about white balance.
My setup for lighting isn't ideal. I have a small desk lamp with a "daylight-5000K LED" bulb and an Ottlite (I found at a thrift shop) with a "cool white-4100K CFL" bulb.

These photos were taken with the LED lamp. I corrected the while balance on the scope to 3500 to compensate for the ambient day light coming in the window the light from the computer screen.

Any better? It is a very shiny quarter. The dark spot in the center is the reflection of the scope! I does show some light marks on the high points and bag marks.

Thanks for looking again.

I am going to get some photos with the Ottlite and post them also.

These are with the Ottlite. White balance is set to 6500. This light is at more of an angle than the regular desk lamp which is almost directly above the scope.

For these, I used a small mirror to reflect some light onto the dark side of the coin.

So....what do you think? As always, thank you for your time and patience.

Ah, the $64,000 question.
This is a tricky one. Do these help?

They are a bit out of focus and upside down , but were taken in 100% natural sunlight. Just to give an better idea of what they actually look like "in hand". As to your question, these:

They most represent the surface as I see it.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to look at too many photos of my coin. I do really appreciate it.

I don't know..... I think the upside down ones are the best. The other ones wash out all the sharp details.
