I was vacationing in PA this weekend and decided to do some penny roll searching. Went to a rural bank and bought 10 rolls and every penny except one was copper. I decided to try my luck again and went to another small bank and got 10 more rolls. Yield: 5 rolls of copper plus 12 copper wheats and 5 steel wheats. I could not believe it. I am heading back that way again to be sure.

Congrats on the "copper yield" !!...........the more years that go by, the harder this may be.

I think a lot of people have rolled coins for years and tucked them away for the "hard times" so they are coming back into circulation again. My son works at one of those "cash advance" stores and comes home every day with stories of people turning in indian head pennies, Walking Liberty halves and he can't take them home. Company policy says they go to the bank! Oh well, guess I will have to follow them to the bank!
