These were still in regular circulation until Belgium adopted the Euro in 2002. I think yours is 1957, as the ones struck in the 1950s tend to have rather weak dates whereas the 1960s coins have bolder dates with a flat-topped six.
Incidentally, this is a Flemish coin - they were issued in roughly equal quantities with the country's name in French (Belgique) and Flemish (Belgie).
