1952-D Lincoln Cent Repunched Mint Mark / RPM ?

It looks like it could be but I'm not entirely sure and I had trouble trying to match it to an RPM. Please let me know if you need more pictures. Thanks for any help! Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 06/06/2018 6:34 pm Here is a quote from coppercoins about the lower areas of the mint mark for this year: Quote: 1952D-1MM-002 D/D WEST CONECA: RPM-002 \| Crawford: unknown Wexler: WRPM-002 \| FS#: unlisted. An extra upper serif sticks out at an angle from the upper vertical bar of the primary mintmark. The bottom serif anomaly is from a damaged mintmark punch. The mintmark is punched high on this die. I'm not saying that this is/isn't this die, it is just a damaged mint mark punch issue that affected a lot of dies that year. So the matching for these will mostly be the top serif and mint mark locations. Report this Post to the Staff

I meant to put "I Agree", but accidentally put a laughing emoji. Edit: I fixed it. What happened is I'm doing this on my phone and my phone lagged, causing me to accidentally put a laughing emoji instead of the "I Agree" emoji Errers and Varietys.
