I have a few discovery coins with my name on them , this one being my favorite https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/die...e_state=mds.
Don't overlook the modern nickels and their doubled reverses.

I have found over 20 new variety discovery coins unlisted and unatributed during my first 100,000 cents. This was during my first 6 months and I was certain of their unique rarity. Well hmmm 2 years later their in my Machine Doubling collection as a reference for what's not a doubled die. Coop that 2002 DDR LMC is awesome, 2 years ago I wouldn't have even looked at any 2001-2006's reverses.
In spite of myself I am seeing the light on these baby's after 2 and a half years...theirs hundreds of attributed double dies out there. Although this forum at time agitates me and my thin skin I realize the dozen or so pillars and bedrocks consistently share their knowledge and have helped me evolve in this hobby. Thanks for treating me and the other rookies with patientence helping us learn the basics of variety searching. You folks got some good eyes finding these. Now if I can just convince the forum I discovered an 1983 DDR FS-103. Not :)
