I can beleive it. I am one of them. For those who cannot afford a decent example of this iconic coin, the wrecked version may be the best we can get.

I bet it's a Chinese fake deliberately destroyed.

Absolutely, it will get a lot of bids and likely go for much more than it's worth because of that.

I suspect a deliberately damaged fake as well.

Could be a fake. Also, it is being sold by a seller with only a few ratings.

If that is a deliberately damaged fake those who are dishonest in general will try absolutely anything to make a buck. Like SD2017 said, most people's only chance to own an example of this iconic error. If I may be so bold, people suck.

If you look around, you can find any keydate coin, in any condition for less then $10.....only it will take a month to get here from China!

This is most likely a flipper.

I missed viewing the auction as Bobby had it appropriately removed.

Difficult for me to understand why anyone would desire to purchase a fake Chinese counterfeit of any coin. I do understand BigSilver concern about the cost of this coin .... but purchasing a deliberate fake to 'satisfy' that need is confusing indeed.

Here is my example:

1955 Lincoln Cent - DDO PCGS AU55

1955-Double-Die-Wheat-Cent

Find one of these just like this - not a Chinese fake.

I believe that was BigSilver that said that, not me.
