Wanting to ask a question about the 2017 Missouri obverse birds nest die chips. I just got 40.00 worth of quarters and they are all of the same ATB Quarter. Is the birds nest and other die chips worth anything? I don't want to keep them if there is no value added. Thanks

Those minor Doubled Dies are worth a couple of dollars on ebay. Three dollars sounds accurate for them. Die Chips in general aren't worth very much, unless it's a big Die Chip.
Errers and Varietys.

You might take an image of that area. Use an arrow to point to what you are seeing. From the image, he might update it as a marker for a later die state?

Ok, the 1st pic is from the die chip bust reverse. Look at red circle in tree. The other pic is from the non chip bust but the same style chip is in a different area.

Coop, is this additional chip on the reverse something that should be attributed? I just don't know if that is normal since all wexlers DD's don't acknowledge this.
Thanks.

ONLY if your coin is also a doubled die, which you never said it was and you never posted pics of. Even if it was I don't think it would be worth the money to add another die marker to the site unless it's a new die state. Die chips are very common on modern quarters, I don't think you should worry to much about spending them.

The best way to determine what is normal is to download the images from the US mint. The compare them to our coin. They are hard to find on the usmint.gov site. Seems like the change the locations a lot. But they are there. Proof and circulating coins images. You just have to download them.
