Once again, photos are tough on these small details.

I've never heard of that one before. I was wondering if you can explain it to me?

I don't see it listed. Only 2 that year that I've seen. I know my pic capability blows right now. Appears to be a smaller S , on top of a larger S. 2 different punches?, or very worn punch/die.

Oh okay. I get what you mean now. You're talking about the blobby mint mark. I think that was caused by a broken mint mark punch. Don't take my word for it just yet, since I could be easily wrong. http://www.error-ref.com/broken-punch/

I spent $1200 on a camera to photograph nebulas & I can't even get a close up of a mint mark lol. Pics 3 shows it best, which isn't great. An S with serifs notches top & bottom. A smaller S on top of that is what it looks like to me. I'll do my best to grab better pics tomorrow . Getting tired

I'll disregard my previous comment. I do see what you're talking about now. It does look like two S mint marks.

Correct, it looks like 2 different punches used. I'll try better in the morning.

So after further examination, I've determined this is not what it seems. Until I can a get much closer look at it & a better way for pics for the experts to comment, I'll set it aside. What appears to be shelf-like looks like a well placed hit on the lower seriff or a damaged punch. Die wear most likely at play & a heavy hand on whoever punched it. Dished out around the MM area. Will revisit another time

Oh well. That's fine though. I do that too. I'll find a bunch of RPM's and set them aside to later identify them.
