Titles are Important! * Hi guys, just wanted to verify the doubling on this 1804 Half Cent is Machine Doubling. By the late 1820' early thirties the old presses had become so worn and "loose" that it wasn't unusual and fittings had to be frequently tightened to prevent it's occurrence.
