Hi,
I am new to the community as I have a question about this 1944 penny I found in a gas station's "give a penny, take a penny" dish.
If any of you guys can give an opinion on if there are any errors, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Main thing that first caught my attention is the star shaped glob over the A&T in "STATES" on the tails side.

Thanks guys.
Bryan

Well it's a Wheat penny. Barely survived WWII. Not much more to say.

Beaten and abused, but I can understand why you would ask.

To CCF! It's Post Strike Damage (happened after it left the U.S. Mint). You can see the pushed over and flattened metal. It's now only worth Copper melt value and it's now considered a cull coin.
