1963 Struck Though 25 Cent Canadian

papeldog Pillar of the Community Canada 1923 Posts	Posted 06/14/2018 1:27 pm I was roll searching earlier this morning and come across this 1963 with what looks like its been struck through with wire or string maybe? The upper half of this coin also has a flattened rim above the denticle and the outer edge of the rim is raised with like a wire thin rim on top of the original rim obverse and reverse. papeldog Pillar of the Community Canada 1923 Posts	Posted 06/15/2018 2:11 pm It is a nice frosty coin but it actually come from a BU bank roll I think either the Nova Scotia or Commerce Banks it has a little scuff on the obverse under Elizabeth that is hard to see in the picture, should grade MS-64 easy. The area of the antlers looks like wire or string got pressed in the coin and made 2 groves through the antlers. Report this Post to the Staff
