Im looking to complete my set, I have from 1898-1912s and I am looking to get pre 1897's in a roll but have no where to look I have looked in my coin shop and they want 3.00 for 1 coin for the least and 17 for the most ( excluding the keys) so I looked on ebay and no buy it now rolls .... soo I don't no where to go

Someone may come along and know of a good resource, but I do not. Some ebay purchases take a long time to find, and a lot of waiting. Some folks look at new listings for months before they find what they like. Patience is all it will take at this point I think.

Once you get to 50 quality posts, you will be able to buy/sell/trade here on the forum as well. Some of the members here may have duplicates they are willing to trade with you.

It's very hard to find pre-1897 nickels in ebay random lots.

I am also trying to complete a Liberty nickel set. But the 1883 to 1895 they start to get a bit more expensive than late 90's to 1900 and above are so common, coin dealers usaully put them in bins for dirt cheap. That's how I first started my set. At a coin show in florida, a coin dealer had a dollar a coin in this miscellaneous bin of pennies , nickels, dimes.But ALL of the dates were from 1897 and above

Money isn't the issue I just want a good deal I came across my 1912-s for 121.99 and I snaged it and is deffinrtly above xf. zjust want to get rolls of pre 1898
