Hello, I found two of the same year quarters and I believe the same mint also but one of them is really dark and the other normal color. Can anyone let me know if this is worth anything. Thanks

Discoloration from enviromental exposure. No additional value. A color quite often found for clad coins discovered by metal detectors.

HOWEVER - silver is usually found the same color as the day it was dropped. Dirt coverage eliminates the majority of oxygen in the soil.

It's Environmentally Damaged. It's not an error. It's Post Strike Damage (happened after it left the U.S. Mint).

Carry it in your pocket for a while and what the color come back on the high spots. You could take shots of it weekly to see the progress.
