Early 1900 And 1800-S Coins Questions?

I recently acquired a nice amount of old coins across the board ranging from silver dollars to Pennies and some are foriegn I want to start getting info on the interesting ones. I also found some old tax tokens from Alabama and Mississippi and was wondering if I would be allowed to post pics in here of the tokens to try and get info that anyone might have. About 40 years ago, I made a strategic decision to change my coin collecting emphases. I asked myself a question:- 'What would be the most commonly available coins that my grandfather would have collected, had he been interested in collecting coins?' Numbering around 1000 pieces, this part of my collection is the most dominant. Most of them are VF or better, and most of them came from dealers' junk boxes. Half of them would be silver.
