Almost looks like someone crinkled it up and tried to flatten it back out.

I'm kind of new to errors. Especially clad errors. Looks really weird. Doesn't look like what I'm familiar a Struck Through Grease looks like. Though I can't think of what else it could be.

Someone that knows a lot more than me will be along shortly and teach us both something.

I thought heat too John1 but wouldn't that affect the reverse too?

It has a dark look to it which also makes me think it was heated. As to the bubble only being on one side,it is just chance.

I agree that it's Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint). It was heated with something hot.
