Not an area that I really collect, but I have a fashion with the Crusades and do have a small collection related to them. Most of us know the Crusades to have been Christian Europe against the Islamic kingdoms that threatened the Holy Lands. While this is true, there were many other areas that crusades were fought. And area was on the Iberian peninsular against the Moors. Alfonso was one of the kings that fought in this area to help free Spain of the non Christians.

Had a quick look on Numista there were quite a few different mints any idea which mint yours is from as some are quite rare?
