I agree with the others in that better photos are needed..

With that said: Supposedly, 1946 is the only year in the Lincoln Cent series that's known to have an inverted mint mark; of the three " S " mint marks used that year the ball serif is the only one known to have been inverted -- and, from what I can see & tell from where I sit in relationship to those photos, that "S" certainly looks inverted..

However, there's also a reason or two why they began using review cameras in baseball & football.. Sooo, better photos pls..

Swampster , the 1910-S RPM#3 cent is actually an inverted S/inverted S.
It gets none of the hype that the 1946 version gets

Frankly, Inverted Serif #2 looks much different than #1 and pretty normal to me.
