I found this 1988 D LMC RDV-006 this morning and am almost as happy with this as the 1998 P LMC Wide AM and 2015 LSC DDR E&V sent me last week! The die markers show that on Mr. Wexler's site the die used is WTRD-004 with two scratches above the D and another die scratch above the U. Edited by Jim0815 06/20/2018 4:23 pm

Thank you jst1dreamer and wrongnumber! Wrongnumber, that is a very good question, some sites say the Philly version, some sites say the Denver version. I really don't have a definitive answer on that one.

Thank you CoinCentsLady, I have truly been blessed with some fantastic finds, DDO's, DDR's transitional dies and now this one. I've been learning and seriously started collecting since November of last year.

Wow, now that's a nice undamaged example. That is one tough nut to crack, I have only found one in 2 years roll searching and no 1988 P's thus far. Its even hard to buy one, they don't come up for sale very often. 18 months ago they were auctioning 300+ in MSRB, 400 + in RD lately I have seen AU examples go for 180ish but only twice. Look at recent sales on the bay and greatcollections you will notice the 88 P is available 4 times the number of times as the 88D. These are down right scarce, great find.
