So it appears I got a late start coin collecting, 40+ and just now getting into it. All these CRH guys on Youtube got my interest piqued. Starting out CRH halves since I have a bank that doesn't have any problem ordering them for me, and also CRH pennies. Just went through 2 boxes of halves, 1 90% and 5 40%, plus a couple mid 80's proofs. Pennies, not really sure what I'm looking for yet, although I'm using this list as a starter guide http://www.lincolncentresource.com/Top50.htmlAlso have the Cherry Picker's guide and Red Book on order, so I'll have those soon. Anyhow, I'm happy to be here on the forums and especially geeked to be looking through coins. It's quite addicting the few boxes I've been looking through. Edited by jagner

Since you are getting the CherryPickers' Guide and you use the Top50, I assume you are interested in varieties like doubled dies and RPMs. If that's so, here are some sites I found very helpful starting out and to this day: www.doubleddie.com (click on the listings on the left) www.varietyvista.com www.coppercoins.com (Lincoln cents only, click on die variety search on the left) Do a little research using these sites, the book, and the forum here.
