Going through some of my notebooks and found a few items worth posting. This is a 1927-D WRPM-005 and WDDO-003.

Nice pull ! Wexler still has this one listed as an rpm but the listing has been removed from Coppercoins. This is the thread I started of my best example of this die over at LCR

Bob , the attributor for Coppercoins, saw enough evidence to delist the rpm.
Does your coin show the doubling under the TY of Liberty ?

Idk. I think coppercoins might be wrong. Lol looks like an RPM to me. Would be some weird lookin MD if it was anything else but I really feel like it's an RPM too.

This is a distinctive DDO that I really like. It has , as well as the doubling at the eye , doubling south of the RTY of Liberty. Here are some pics of mine that show what is seen on the mintmark is slide doubling.

Stoneman, You can see doubling under the T and Y on mine coin. I didn't get a close up when taking the pictures. Due to the wear on the coin the doubling can be seen but is not as strong as the one you show.

Glad yours showes the doubling on Liberty. I think that makes it one of the more interesting Doubled die obverses from the 1920's
