I found this 1991 P LMC while roll hunting and does it have a lot going on. Grease filled, odd shaped devises on the obverse, finning. The reverse is absolutely normal all except the FG initials. Thoughts?

Man, that's what heck of a strike through. Liberty looks kind of like a dd because of how they are shaped, the B especially. I haven't no clue though if that is result of the strike through and/or lds. Looks like it had a lot of polish marks. Even still that's a pretty cool find. Def interested to see what other people think.

I think it is the results of an over polished die.

Is the coin bent at all. try placing it on a table and see if it sits flat?

Glitter cannon prepared Coop.

That cent is a mess. If it were an 1981 I'd be even more impressed.

For the Zincolns I'd prefer to see a nice one with no problems.

Very nice find and congratulations Jim! Very nice Greaser! That reminds me a lot of my 1991 LMC Greaser that I posted two months ago (Title says 1990, but it's a typo and it's from 1991). http://goccf.com/t/317019

I'm still wondering if it is a struck through issue. Seems like the fields are affected, which a Grease Fill normally won't alter. Often something prevents the strike besides the grease. So maybe Mike Diamond will have a better clue as to what?

Thank you, Mr. Coop. One thing is definitely for sure, it's a Frankenstein of a cent.

I don't see anything particularly unusual about this constellation of errors. The coin was Struck Through Grease, and some of the design elements show grease-mediated radial smear. http://www.error-ref.com/grease-med...adial-smear/ There are some plating blisters and the coin's surface is stained (post-strike).

Thank you Mr. Diamond. Being relatively new to this wonderful world of error collecting I am appreciative of the education you have just provided.
