Hello guys , here I am again with another doubt, I have frequently find some coins with strange marks, like these,

I would to know more about these marks, If it is caused during the minting process, or are just made during the production of the disks.

I have classified them like clashed dies (caused during the mintage process), but I am not sure about this,

These images below are showing straight lines marks on the coins,

and the last one,

6-coin (this one with a circular mark)

all marks are seen in low relief parts of coins.

Can You help me with this,

Definitely not a die clash. A die clash would show an inverted image of the opposite side of the coin.

Most of these look like either die scratches or Feeder Finger Damage (Die scrapes). Either way, it is damage to the die and can occur during the making of the die or while the die is in use.

The last one may be lathe lines if the lines are parallel. This occurs during the beginning of the die making process, these lines are supposed to be removed before the design is added to the die but sometimes it is missed.

Those are very popular coins in Brazil. And many collectors are seeking for these kind of errors. Some of these coins are highly valued. Some author have classified them as variants (In my opinion, They are wrong).

Those 5 new pics look like misaligned die clashes. They show an inverted image of the obverse behind the design of the reverse.

That seventh coin, the 10 centavos, looks to be a radically misaligned die clash. That one would be very valuable to the right collector.

Thanks again, Now, I understand better these kind of marks, and looking for the observe side, We can see a little of the image of the design elements, of course not exactly on the same position (or height), like you have explained,

Just to complete the topic, I will update one more curious picture,

That twelfth coin looks to have multiple extremely rotated die clashes. That's another really interesting one.
