I was wondering is this is a double ear on Lincoln as it is sometimes found on the 1997 coins. Looks kinda different than a doubling would. What do you guys think? I also inserted a photo of a normal Lincoln 1997 cent to compare the two. Thank you!

Nope, not the doubled ear. That's only on the 1997 Philadelphia Cents. That's Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint). The ear took a well placed hit, causing the metal to get pushed over and flattened.

Ohp my mistake, gotta add that to my notes. Thank you 'Errors and Varieties'! This makes me wonder unto another question: can collectors be as interested in a damaged coin as much as an error coin if the looks unique like this? Thank you again.

You're very welcome and no problem! If you go on ebay and see damaged coins, they often attract (not so smart) bidders and they'll bid on them for crazy money. Although, I wouldn't suggest doing that, because you might get nasty feedback or have an ebay case opened up.

Indent on the coin, PSD 99.9 % of the time. People love damaging coins? Why? Cause they are there. What do they do with them? Just spend them and they end up here.

Oh well. keep looking and you'll find a good coin eventually. There's plenty of good stuff in the wild, waiting to be found.
