Yes, some of the older albums such as the Wayte Raymond albums are prised for their toning abilities. Some of the newer ones don't, you just have to make sure which ones are which.

I much prefer the ones that tone the coins. They can turn a common coin into a WOW coin.

My Jefferson Dansco album is just over twenty years old now and the only toning I have seen is with the proofs. The tone is an even bronze tint and I like it very much. None of the business strikes have toned. None of my other albums have done this, not even to the proofs.

Dansco is a brand of coin album.

Check these links out for some examples:

JP's Corner
TradeWinds Supplies
AMOS Advantage

You can also buy Dansco slipcases which your albums slip into which is supposed to help retard toning.

Basically don't worry about coins in Dansco or Whitman Albums. I've been using both for as long as they have existed and no problems at all. Of course I do have a litle trick to prevent any problems with coins. I put each album in a zip lock bag, push out as much air as possible, then close. I presently have over 100 such albums and no problems with toning, corroding, tarnishing, etc.

Ive had it on one SBA. I took it out of the mint wrap and when I went to go add in another one 2 weeks later I noticed it had turned. So I'm not sure if it had something to do with the air from coming out of its wrapper, or the book. But I'm pretty sure it was from the wrapper
Rest in Peace

I have purchased Dansco Albums for many years. I currently have about 30.

I see no toning at all, of any coins.
