So I picked up a roll of quarters at my bank. I went to rifle through them...but I realized that they are all the exact same! They gave me an entire roll of the New Mexico Statehood Quarters! They are in one of those shotgun rolls. Could these have come straight from the mint to the Federal Bank to my local bank without being opened? Should I assume they are all in MS condition of some sort?

New Mexico was just released a few months ago. If you have a solid roll, then I see no reason why they shouldn't all be mint state- that is what is called an OBW(original bank roll).

they were not rolled by the mint, most likely either the bank,CWI or their armored car service wrapped them.

I see. So I should just throw them away?

And now...ladies and gentlemen...the moment you've all been waiting for...
