my loco coin shop bought a hugh deal.it had over 500 silver dollars alarge amount of half dollars.today I 2x2 15 1938 D's not counting the 1916 d and s and the 17 d s ov.s about 5 each the 1919's also. and some 1921's.and now the quarters how about 10 each of the 1932 d and s.the dimes had a 1916 d ag/g .nickels have not touch them yet.and the pennies.how about 50,000 of them and yes there are the 1909 s's ind lincoln and the 14 d 22 no d 24 d's 31 s's.and all of this collected by a milk man.the list is big I only look at some of it.obw rolls of pennies I bought a 1952 d and a 1953 d 3 rolls of 1955 d and some of the others.and these coin roll where on TOP of this cooler.a 20 gal. one filled to over flowing not counting what's on the floor!the pennies have not been work on yet either.i work with the dealer for 15 hours so far just working out the coins.

a look in the rolls of pennies I found a roll of 1909 vdb a roll of 1911 D there are other great rolls there.(i bought 19 obw rolls in the wheats

i know how much he paid for it.i just cann't say it.i am also buying the 1931 ,1931 d,1932,1932 d,1933 ,1933 d.circ rolls.will check it out more.

With times being what they are I've heard there have been a large amount of home robberies lately. At least around here. Pawn shops are having an unusual large amount of coin collections coming in. I would sure wonder if that so called milk man is in reality a milk man. Such a large amount of rare coinage would sure send up a warning flag at coin dealers around here. Of course the problem with a coin collection is no possible serial numbers or other tracable methods.

this guy was in his 70's that sold the collection.it was a home pick up.
UPDATE!
in the bag I took home I found 16 1909 vdb's,15 1922 D's,and 12 1924 D.and we only started to look at them.
UPDATE 2!
5 more 1922 D and 7 1926 S and a MS 63 1935 S

yes I know.he is my main coin dealer! and lets me work with them.now he is letting me put the date on them after I 2x2 them. i just done the extra canada coins .it only had 15 1920's a few 21 then skip to 26 and on! I did find 2 of the 1949 canada penny that had the thin a.there is about 300 plus george's 1000 eddie's and the rest are the early queens.(and 1 book missing the 22 and the 25)
pennies I found 15 1912 D, 15 1911 D,20 1933 D.
