The only one I have found . Doesn't weight 3.1 but seems to be in good shape.Made in the year I graduated high school.

Tough to say from the photos. My best guess is AU. The coloring seems off.

That is a really nice 1982 d small date   Same year that I graduated as well  . Time is sure fun when your having flies.

I wouldn't say it's AU though. The reverse steps are showing quite a bit of circulation wear on the bottom steps, so I say it's somewhere in the EF range.

With the new reverse pic, I revise my grade to AU-53 Details, stained.
Crazy is correct about how the coin was stained - a car cup holder coin!

Ok people this penny came from a glove compartment of a Chevy truck. Guess where the cup holders are? Lol Thanks to all that responded. Your great!!
