A 500 maximum mintage for the reverse proof makes these very rare, though there is obviously not great worldwide demand. I think they're beautiful in both proof and reverse proof, so I purchased the two previous sets and now have this one on preorder. Report this Post to the Staff
1cent Pillar of the Community Canada 1051 Posts	Posted 08/31/2018 12:49 pm They may be sold to collectors, but in reality they are freshly minted bullion coins, nicely packaged and intentionally made "rare" by releasing them in low numbers. They could have been interesting with the 1999 or 2003 Britannia designs, as both were quite a bit prettier than this one, at least to my eyes. Report this Post to the Staff
