This Caracalla denarius has really old cabinet toning, it is a shame that I have no pedigree to go with it. Lost to the ages, unless I can match it to a auction catalog description from the past.

Here is another of the type with different legend breaks.

A different reverse with a bust that looks more Septimius than Caracalla.

Severus example for comparison of style on the bust. Very similar.

I have a small collection of these commemoratives. I went from looking to acquire one for years, to finding one a few years ago, to adding 6 within the last year!

Very nice group you have there.

I have dabbled with these but the only one I have currently is a Geta as Augustus.

As you can see there are a variety of poses you can get for Victory.

When it rains .....
It pours !

Never can have too many of a good type when they suddenly become available and the prices are attractive !
(I think we proved that maxim a few years back !)
They make a very nice set

Thanks for the comments everyone. Nice Geta maridvnvm, if you are going to have just one of this type reverse, having a Geta is the way to go, definitely the scarcest ruler for the type. I only have one Geta, and it is the only I have ever seen for sale since I started collecting them.
