I ended up finding this today, I thought it looked odd, and I had never seen one before. I took decent photos of it (alongside a regular quarter). Does anyone know any info on it, if it would be worth anything? Or is this some fake? Thank you.

Just a heavily circulated coin. Possible from a casino?

Really doesn't matter how, it is suffering from circulation damage.

Hmm, to me, it looks like that someone used heat to damage the coins and to artificially tone it. It's Post Strike Damage (happened after it left the U.S. Mint), but I'm not that sure on what caused the damage exactly.

Coop is right. It doesn't matter how it happened, but it's still interesting though. It's damage.

Unfortunately it looks like a heavily circulated cup holder coin, mountain dew perhaps, still worth a quarter

PMD. Not a mint error. Looks like a cup holder coin.
