BTw an ounce scale is useless.

For example, to sort copper from zinc Lincolns you are looking for 3.11g +/- 0.11g. vs. 2.50g +-/ 0.10g

As ounce avoidupois is 28+g and a troy ounce is 31.1g

This is a damaged coin. The metal has been pushed over and flattened. Post Strike Damage (happened after it left the U.S. Mint).

It looks like a soft die fake to me. I don't think it was ever a real coin.
