I come to this site often to look up information or see other's penny's but I just registered today. Anyways, I have a 1975 LMP and the G in God on the obverse looks odd but I'm not exactly sure what it is, if anything. What you're seeing on the "G" from "IGWT" is a well placed hit, causing the metal to get pushed over and flattened. This is Post Strike Damage (happened after it left the U.S. Mint).
