tdziemia Pillar of the Community United States 7955 Posts	Posted 06/27/2018 10:07 am Last night I found this coin, loose, in the bottom of a small box of old baseball cards I've been slowly selling off on ebay. I recognized its origin immediately. It was from a small lot I had purchased at auction nearly 20 years ago. Obviously I had never identified it and gotten it into a 2x2. It's a bit of a mystery how it got so far from my other coins, but I've moved 3 times in the last 8 years, so it may have fallen out while packing, and then been dropped into whichever box hadn't been sealed up. 2 gros, Charles the Bold 1467-77, Leuven mint. Issued 1467-74. About 28-29 mm in diameter, but I don't have a weight. Central detail has worn away on both sides, but still a decent coin Report this Post to the Staff
