The difference between a struck through like this coin and coin damage is this. The trench created is rounded in the bottom. Secondly, the metal displacement doesn't happen, as it occurs during the striking, not afterward. Damage to a coin involves either a sharp tip, that is squared. Leaving a square trench, also leaving a raised area on each side. If the damage happens after the strike, we will see metal displacement like a splash in water on damage after a strike. I would like to have several close ups at different angles, to use for my educational files. I could use them as more side by sides.

 No coffee...................... Close as you can get. Large as you can get. I can edit images to suit my needs.  I was trying to match the lines on the ravine:    So I can work with small or large images. Larger give better picture quality and better detail. You can Email to me or post them here. Edited by coop
