Jim0815 Pillar of the Community United States 5240 Posts	Posted 06/29/2018 12:24 pm I found this odd looking 1972 D LMC and the only thing I can think of when I see it is a dryer cent or the greatest Greaser of all time! Crazy thing is only the reverse rim is affected and not the obverse rim. It appears flattened on the devises but the cent is the same diameter as it should be. The collar is slightly rounded and it weighs 2.90 gms. Great educational cent. Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 06/29/2018 12:28 pm I feel because the coin is under in weight it was altered. The devices smashed a bit, the reverse sanded down a bit. It may have been a Struck Through Grease, but the flattening of the devices. show me it was altered. So I guess you have an interesting coin, but PSD. sorry Report this Post to the Staff
