Saying hello. Already posted...one reply but appreciated. To all the experts giving their valuable time to answer questions,

Thank you.

I do have a comment/question, if anyone would like to chime in.

As an observer on the site for years, some of the questions with compelling pictures (error variety) seem to get dismissed, unless it is a key date or known error. Is it the quality of the pictures or better description needed?

I want to post however is needed for the valuable expert advice.

Rest in Peace

Provide one or two coins with questions per thread.

Be sure to illuminate your questions specifically.

Don't use all CAP letters.

Be sure your photos are presented right side up.

Always include a full photo of front and back, regardless of question.

That will get you past most of the things we see too much of.

But don't worry too much. We've all been goofy here. Especially that Crazy dude.
Rest in Peace

Not quite sure what you are asking here. Most all questions get answered within each thread, now not all of us are the absolute "expert" you may think. We try, some are more detailed, other short and to the point. Most Noobie questions if you haven't noticed are relatively the same. Once that new person(if they continue) begins to learn and grasp the proper concepts, more detailed answers can be given. It's hard to daily repeat oneself with the exact same responses.

Now, as to detailed descriptions and pix. The best that a new person can do is to get his best pix and explain what he/she THINKS they see, and the area in question of the coin. Next is, don't argue with the responses given you. They are the best in that given situation(usually). You will see those who are absolutely convinced they have the next coin lotto winner and just want me to prove them right...but I can't if it isn't a winner. So the more descriptive the better.

You may have witnessed a few "bad apples" recently, those that argue, or are taunting the members with bogus requests, or are just plain mean to others...they are no longer a part of this discussion forum, 'nuff said.

Oh, and Mox...ain't you supposed to be in bed?

Great! Thank you for your answers. Very helpful.

If you get a chance, I would like your thoughts on my post (1983 and 1999 Lincoln pennies). The '83 is quite impressive and have not seen, nor able to find information on what's going on. The '99 obverse has, what looks like a die chip but exactly the same shape as the nine.
