Hello everyone,

I'm very interested in the history of coins. I studied Latin for many years in high school (many moons ago) and through that grew to have a great appreciation for Greek and Roman history. I have never collected ancient coins, but would be interested to check it out.

My current collection is primarily American coins, late 1800's and early 1900's. Don't have many really, and frankly coin history and the art of what is portrayed on coins is more interesting to me then collecting, but it's fun to own a few examples too.

Hoping to meet many folks here and learn a lot.

I also took Latin in High school and all I remember is "Puella" - Have fun on this site as it has so many members with great knowledge!!
