veryoriginalname New Member United States 8 Posts	Posted 06/30/2018 10:09 pm The coin is very shiny but does not have any "bands" when under light. I think it might be cleaned, but I'm new to coin grading so I would appreciate your input. Here are some more images. My camera is just avarage so hopefully the close-ups are good enough. numismatic student Bedrock of the Community United States 11896 Posts	Posted 06/30/2018 10:32 pm It looks about au55 sharpness but for a coin this detailed, it looks like it has no luster. That leads me to think that it may have been cleaned, but it looks more like lack of luster from normal handling. Looks like a coin with the sharpness of a mid AU coin with the surfaces of an XF coin. Call it au50. Pictures of the coin out of the flip would be helpful. Report this Post to the Staff

veryoriginalname New Member United States 8 Posts	Posted 06/30/2018 11:27 pm It passes the magnet test and makes the classic silver "cling" sound. It was purchased about 40-50 years ago. I highly doubt it's a counterfeit, but I would like to hear why you believe it is. Report this Post to the Staff
