burnswe: to the CCF !

Obv.: ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP IMP 11 (I can see only "IMP 1")
Rev. TR.POT.X111.COS.1111 (I can see only "COS 11")

Tranquillity standing left, holding rudder and corn ears.

Should have "TRANQ" in exergue but in my opinion the die cutter didn't have enough room to include this lettering in the space, so it was left out.
Therefore similar, but not exactly the same as R.I.C. 202.

Style OK, but sharpness of all design details a bit 'mushy'.

I would have liked to have a close look inside the edge cracks with a 10 or 15X loupe, looking for tensile metal distress that would have been the result of striking, much like the top of a well used steel cold chisel.

Maybe this...
Antoninus Pius AR Denarius. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP IMP II, laureate head right / TR POT XX COS IIII, Ceres standing right, holding torch and corn-ears.RIC 259cf

or this..

Antoninus Pius Denarius. 146-144 AD. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP IMP II, laureate head right / TR POT XXI COS IIII, Annona standing right with rudder and modius with corn ears, foot on prow to right RIC 275

Can't make out from the photo if it's XX or XXI

Hopefully puts you in the right direction...Paul

A clear photo of the reverse is needed to confirm but the coin appears to be RIC III, 260:

I can find out the weight of the coin and take more defined photos if that would help?
