Coin on the left (top) is a 1988 bottom right coin is 1989.
Is it my eyes again or does the 1989 have the RDV-005 reverse? I don't know what else to check to verify any further.

Thanks
CC

They're both normal. They both have the correct reverse designs.

Okay like I said my vision is not so good so I questions my findings all the time.

I am backwards here. Even though I have the coin I trust more what you all see than what I see, LOL

thanks for looking

Note the top edge of the 'G' to see where it ends.

The two examples you posted has both coins showing heavy die polishing. That alters the shape a bit. But note the angle of the 'G' on the RDV-005 tilts downwards a bit. On the RDV-006 it tilts upwards a bit. So they are the correct dies for each year. Thinned by polishing, but correct for each year.
