1750 Holland 14 Gulden - Restrike Or Not?

ksammut Pillar of the Community United States 1003 Posts	Posted 07/02/2018 11:51 am I recently purchased this 1750 Holland 14 Gulden "Golden Rider" for right around melt value. I did a little research and found out that there was a restrike in 1960 of the same coin. Is this coin a restrike or an original example? Are there any diagonostics to distinguish between the two? I think it's been cleaned, but it is still an interesting coin for melt. Thank you! Report this Post to the Staff
