So I'll never give up trying. I probably spend to to much time looking but I don't care.lol! So I stumble across this 1979 DDO? I think that is what it is. I looked online for anything similar and no luck. So I'm wanting some opinions, is it worth messing with or no? I appreciate any help and thanks in advance. I'm not the best photo taker and I recently got this s microscope type camera and still trying to figure it out.

That's Machine Doubling, since the devices are reduced in size, it's shelflike (flat) in appearance. This doesn't carry any value over face value. http://www.error-ref.com/machine-doubling

Coin isn't "worthless", it's just not worth a lot.
Something like that I sell for $1 - $2 each.

This Machine Doubling does not increase the value of a coin.

I actually sell these in real life. "Purist" collectors hate MDD, however there is a market for them. The stronger the doubling, the more it' worth.
You's can claim they have no value all day long, I'll take all the ones you get for "face value" !

Machine Doubling does not equal a Doubled Die.

Machine Doubling is common on modern coins. It should not be sold as a Doubled Die.

It's actually worthless. You only get money on ebay, because of stupid buyers that don't know what Machine Doubling is. ebay is the only way to get money for Machine Doubling.

By the way, it's pretty laughable that you say that Machine Doubling has value, while in the real world it doesn't.
