Hi all, trying to figure for my future classic commem set how best to store them. I love Dansco albums, but with these coins, I would hate having to get some coins in graded holders and then either keeping them separate or breaking them out of the holders. So I saw these and thought these could work in a binder. Anyone have experience with these and are they easy to get holders in and out? Thanks, https://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/ce...CoH4QAvD_BwE

I use these for my silver Kennedy proofs (probably overkill for this series, but I digress). It is very easy to get the slabs in and out of the page -- you just have to open the rings of the binder first. The page is just a clamshell (i.e. it folds in half along the outer/exposed edge); the page does snap together to a point, otherwise the binder rings are what keeps it closed. The upside is that it holds just about any of the slabs, unlike the plastic boxes that fit one but not the other major slab variety.

I considered using these pages for my slabbed Ike set, but opted for this Lighthouse box instead. It holds PCGS and NGC just fine.

That is a nice box. I do like the pages better as I like seeing the coins all together rather than just the individual slabs.

I was the same way at first, seeing as how everything else is in Dansco albums. However, I found that with the box I can concentrate on one coin at a time. This slabbed set is really a different beast for me and I find myself wanting to focus on one coin for a while; having it in hand to flip back and forth makes this easier. When I want to see the whole set I just spread them out on the desktop. Maybe not the most efficient way compared to pages, but it works for me. It is interesting to see them all at one time as opposed to nine per page as in the Dansco (which I will remind, I still have as the slabbed set is a secondary set). Anyway, if you do get these pages, do let us know how they work out for you.

They are exceptional. Clear, don't scratch easily, holds any TPG, even the old small white ANACS. I love being able to pull a binder and enjoy viewing my collection. You can't do that with any bow. If you can enjoy looking at your collection, why have them?

Most things by Lighthouse are high quality. Show some pics if you decide to go with the pages.

I like the Eagle Certified Slab holders better since you can put them in and out individually without having to take the page out of the binder and take apart the two halves of the pages. Here is a link to the Eagle Certified Slab Holders I use: http://www.eaglecoinholders.com/new...ath=21_28_53Eagle also makes nice binders and also full "certified sets" that include albums and pages and an "index page" that goes in the front of the albums. (although you can really do that yourself very easily as well) They also make great holders for proof sets as well. That said, Lighthouse is a top-tier brand and their products are all excellent quality. I have used the slab holders you mention above, and they are definitely top-grade. And if you don't plan to swap-out individual items from the pages, then they work fine. Regards, Michael

I never saw those before. Looks a bit on the expensive side.

the front and back swing on the outside and push lock together as you close ( my type does) and after you close they go into standard ring binder... regards
they are chunky and I get 4 or five pages into a normal binder
